I am very pleased with this trimmer. I got it on sale for 1.99 and it's the best trimmer i have ever purchased and it's the cheapest i have ever paid. I don't know about every model but this model i have here is not plastic. There is a plastic cover up by the blade that covers the moving parts but the body of this trimmer is metal!! Its bad arse!! I am not sure about the longevity. But for the price, i could buy one of these at this price every year and be happy. Maybe even every six months. I hope it lasts longer but what the hell. I can't believe the price i purchased this for. Going to buy a few of these for my family members as i am very impressed as this isn't a plastic toy like some of the comments, not mine anyway. It weighs 152 grams as seen in the photo. Again, i am very pleased so far, everything works as it should. Get ya one!! !
