It trims nails nicely, and it's also suitable for adults. I would recommend it more for men or boys, as you probably won't be able to create a precise shape, but a smooth square shape can be done perfectly. It works with one AA battery.

I haven't used the file yet, but it looks practical and easy to use. It comes with 3 files, and apparently they sell replacements around here. It's small and precise, price-quality ratio 10/10.
