The size is small, so it's safer to use it while setting hair than just placing it on the vanity. It only covers the heating plate. A portable mini size seems appropriate~

Well, it looks just like the picture. Nothing special. I see some people say it’s small but to me it’s a perfect size. I straighten my hair so i got this for that reason so as long as it’s big enough for my straightener i’m happy. So, i definitely recommend getting it! 😀

The ridges are nice to help prevent rolling off for extra protection. Very flexible and lightweight. Perfect to keep on hand

I liked the mat, but I admit it's quite small. It's worth checking the size before buying. Something I didn't do.
